Core problem: too much CO2 in the air.

Although this causes directly only a minimal increase in temperature worldwide, it ensures that 7% more water vapor accumulates in the air; thus, on average, an increase from 70% to 77%. Water vapor is itself a greenhouse gas 4 times more potent than CO2 (hence, in a recursive series, adding up to about ∑[i = 0, ∞] (7%*4)^(i) = 1.389-fold). Thus, the temperature already increases more due to the feedback alone due to water vapor. Now there are many such feedback effects, from burning forest due to drought, receding area of ice at the poles so that more heat is absorbed here… And these feedback effects, in turn, all reinforce each other as well. Consequently, that little bit of CO2 has an enormous impact.
Just talking about it doesn't change anything.

Solution contribution: CO2 out of the air.

It is necessary to achieve in practice that less CO2 is emitted into the atmosphere and that CO2 is taken out of the air again. Less in, more out!
The latter is totally neglected so far, but it is so simple that everybody can contribute to it.
Each tree binds up to 11t of CO2 in its lifetime.
With each tree nursery over 1,000m², 500 or 800 deep-rooted plants can be grown every 8 years. Deep-rooted plants are plants whose roots also reach into the depth (e.g. English oak: 10m). These are less susceptible to dry periods.
That makes 24'000 trees within the next 50 years and hence 250'000t CO2 less in their lifetime. For the operation of such a tree nursery hardly any effort is needed, it actually only has to be set up once (duration: 1 to 2 months) and once at the end of autumn the lateral branches of all trees have to be removed, as well as those 500 to 800 trees have to be planted out (duration: 14 days / year).
And certainly the nursery can be operated for generations. Everywhere the forest burns and the, due to republic failure (over the fiscal forcing efficiency at the expense of prudence with hence gigantic damage) to the climate change become a crisis is over the next 10'000 years a problem (risk), since the half-life of CO2 under light from the sun is nowmal approx. 10'000 years long.
For every 250 nurseries (only 25 ha) per federal state we thus achieve 1GT less CO2 in the air.

The exact concept

  1. Buying 1'000m² of land for example costs about 1'000 Euro. Small areas are not good for farmers. Alternatively, 25m2 (= 100 trees / 8 years) in the far corner of your garden is enough.
  2. Collect PET bottles, e.g. Volvic, as high as possible. In other words simply do not return bottles.
  3. Build a shelter, against slugs, grasshoppers, caterpillars, mice and wind, so that neither the young leaves are eaten off, nor the small trees grow crooked.
  4. Collect tree seeds from deep-rooted trees in the fall (full list on Reclue.com) [duration: 1h / 1'000 pieces]
  5. Just leave the tree seeds outside over the winter to plant only those that germinate.
  6. Cut the PET bottles at the top (open cylinder) and make a hole at 2/3 height as drainage of too much water. Plant the germinating seeds in the PET bottles
  7. Buy KG pipes (160mm outer diameter [equivalent to 160 "dn"]). Buy a suitable earth drill with 2m length + 1m handle. Request credit from us here if necessary. Also buy a wooden rod with 15cm diameter and cut it into slices with 3cm height each. Buy bitumen, paint the wood completely and seal each KG pipe below waterproof as follows. Using 3 wood screws, screw a wooden disc in the middle of the KG pipe at the bottom and then seal the last millimeter of gap with bitumen if necessary.
  8. Drill the holes for the KG pipes sealed watertight at the bottom with the earth drill. [Duration on sand: a sporty 5min / pipe]
  9. After one year, plant the deep-rooted trees one by one in a KG tube. (With the PET bottles, you have the advantage of increasing the yield per area by 4/3 or 8/5 for the first and possibly second year, while the large area with the KG tubes is only used for those trees that already form deep roots.
  10. Buy thin bamboo canes and tie the young trunk to these bamboo canes whenever it has grown back, so that the trunk becomes as straight as possible. Likewise, cut off the lateral shoots/branches in the fall so that the trunk becomes as tall as possible without lateral branches.
  11. After 8 years (the taproot of the oak grows about 2m into the ground during this time) you can offer the tree for sale. This will bring you about 40€ (net, in other words after taxes) per tree.
  12. When a buyer is found (Reclue will work as a sales platform), then simply pull the trees out of the ground with a crane by the KG pipe, pierce the KG longitudinally through the soil to loosen it up, and hence you can pull the tree out of the KG pipe. Then plant immediately: Use auger to make new hole + hang tree over it and fill with moist soil. If necessary, tamp down the soil step by step. Then place a garbage bag with a small hole for watering to the last convex s20cm.

In pictures

The glass house was donated to the project - it would otherwise have been scrapped. Here in the photo the panes at the sides are still missing; on the roof no panes come, so that the rain falls directly into the bottles. With the panes on the sides, however, caterpillars, snails, grasshoppers and also: mice, as well as wind can be kept away from the young oaks. Although this might not succeed to 100%, so however to a large extent and that makes a lot of difference. On the left in the photo still over 300 bottles are stored - on the right the bottles in the glass house are cut off above, provided with waste water hole on 2/3 height and buried. Four acorns are in each bottle i.e. one in each corner. Hence, one needs only 200 bottles for 800 oaks/year. And if the state does not grant any subsidies for the KG-pipes, the young oaks can also be grown in this way for two years, while the bottles are pulled out with pliers, cut off at the bottom and placed on a new bottle prepared in this way. A bit of waterproof tape then holds both bottles on top of each other. The ingenious aspect of this concept is that no water is needed on site, no water source, but the rainwater is stored directly in the bottles, so that it cannot seep away downwards. The majority is stored hence.

Bottle on the far right: deposit garbage, next to it on the left: Head cut off, hole for drainage of too much water at 2/3 height, even further left: Logo removed (so that neither theft is worthwhile and likewise no foil flies around as plastic garbage) - far left: Auger for the next bottle already set.

In the picture there are 300 planted acorns, which as trees will take 3,300 t of CO2 out of the air. Next year, 1,000 more will be planted (11,000 t CO2 less). In the fall of 2024 these will come (1) in KG pipes, (2) 8 years later out of the ground together with the KG pipe and will be exposed. That's just 2 more steps! When will you start contributing?

And really anyone can do it. For every 100 new oak trees planted, anthropogenic climate change is stopped worldwide for one second, i.e. the restructuring of the infrastructure has gained time. So if you plant 45'000 new oak trees in your life, you will stop the global problem for a full 5 minutes. 288 tough people manage a day together. 105'120 tough people worldwide stopped the problem 100% for a whole year. That would only be 105 people per nation. Let's say 10 people per state. Makeable.

Not necessary, but quite safe against theft: planted sliding door as fence-door.
Unfortunately, the KlimaBaumGärten project was set back again and again for a whole 3 years, because not only did the Berlin tax office embezzle 3'025€ with knowingly zero euros in revenue, but because of everything was stolen again and again. For the reason of maximum duplication the security against theft is an important aspect for the success of the concept, I have designed this sliding door, because no one runs into a bush and besides, there are now other security measures, which I am happy to share on request. Even if not wanted by the state, cooperation drastically increases the success.

Rail best laid with template for constant spacing. You don't need much concrete, but potassium silicate to insulate against water is important against the frost in winter, so that the concrete does not crack due to expanding ice.

The door is essentially a tub of aluminum panels, reinforced with L-sections. This is insulated to be watertight so that no water is lost here either. Thus, the bushes inside have enough water even in dry summers - important, as they would otherwise dry out.

To keep the door light, it is wise to use largely expanded clay instead of soil, as it has a density of only 300kg/m² instead of >1,000kg/m² of wet soil.

To cause that the water by capillary force nevertheless always reaches the earth layer lying above the expanded clay, I have made these two heaps, which consist only of earth and by which the water can always rise from the lowest layer into the uppermost layer of the earth.

In addition, I have placed fine clay crumbs as a layer between the expanded clay and the earth layer, so that the earth does not simply sag away under the lighter expanded clay.

To cause that nobody - even if he knows that there is a door here - can open this door, there is a bolt, which consists of two aluminum tubes, which are pushed into each other. The inside is then the bolt - the outside ensures that the inner tube can be moved freely. There is no law as theft-proof as this door. Thus, the problem of regular theft has been completely prevented so far.

Finally, the tub is simply planted with any bushes rooting as shallowly as possible. The door grows closed over the coming years. Today it is so light that you can pull and push it loosely with one arm. Required force for pushing xkg weight is 4% of xkg.

Finances

  1. Investment for the beginning: about 1'000€ for area, 150€ auger, 15€ per KG pipe = first generation tree, 1 month time

  2. then yearly:
  3. 80€ income per tree, of which 40€ in taxes to the state, then 3% interest to us for loans for initial investments if necessary, remaining for the first generation about 30€ / tree
  4. from the second generation it is 40€ / tree in net profit (at 500, resp. 800 trees / year this is 20'000€, resp. 32'000€)

Is this only a small project?

Perhaps you are now saying:
"That causes so little that one does not have to begin at all."
But that would then also apply to every demo sign and every solar cell.
So the question is how many of you who are interested in climate protection will join in. 1GT CO2 less in the air is a lot.
So what is the potential which we can measure?

genuine-democratic problem solving

genuine-democratic := the participation is open immediately for every person worldwide and thereby completely free. Everyone receives directly empirically-fair percentages at the reached. The better argument for the solution of the problem is thus implemented. Simply begin: reclue.com
I.e. for every person it is noted, what exactly he/she contributed (by description of content and not by monetary number inviting to fraud). Thus, the performance can be empirically recorded more precisely and recalculated at any time later, if the consensus about the estimation regarding the actual performance changes. So, whoever has let more or less of what is possible become an actually feasible option, has minimized risks and avoided damages, receives more shares in the world's prosperity - whereby everyone must receive a kind of basic income, in particular absolute chances for the perfection of his own person - i.e. access to any kind of education (feasible via Reclue.com), i.e. in particular his basic needs (protection against the weather, food, water, electricity, hygiene, medication, ...) covered.
The value of an idea is, for example, quantitatively unambiguously calculable per Reclue: It is in lexicographic arrangement a two-tuple of urgency*effectiveness/efficiency and the distance of the idea to previous solution approaches. Justice can thus be discussed objectively free of subjective preferences and hence realized.
Democracy is not feasible without justice, otherwise there is no cooperation and hence no sincerity in discourse.
The consensus is not only the agreement of a small group (or of some representatives), but the summary of opinions, which is open to changes for any person world-wide, and which at a time nobody can refute, although this is in no way somehow contentwisely prevented.
